The enjoyment and safety of our patrons is important to all of us. As such, please be aware of our current COVID-19 safety procedures. Policies are reviewed on a regular basis and updated as needed in accordance with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and local health mandates.
As of August 15, 2022 masks are optional and can be worn at the preference of the patron throughout all of the Lofte Community Theatre.
As of May 11, 2023, the Federal Government declared that COVID-19 Public Heather Emergency has ended, but, according to the CDC, the pandemic is ongoing. Due to the nature of the virus the Lofte may cancel or reschedule performances. In the event that this should occur, every effort will be made to reach out to patrons and alert them of the schedule change.
Anyone entering the Lofte is asked to self-screen for symptoms of illness before arriving. If you believe you are ill, please contact the box office at 402-234-2553 and we will exchange your ticket for another performance or another production.
How you can support the Lofte during the
"The show must go on!"
The Lofte is proud to serve Cass County and the surrounding area. We hope to continue to be here for a long time and provide performers a place to call home, provide artists a place to make art, and provide a place for our patrons to experience the stories and characters of the world. We would not, and could not be here without each and every one of you. Thank you to everyone who contributed in whatever way you could, whether it was through a monetary donation, donating time or materials, renting the facility, or buying a ticket. If you are interested in helping the Lofte continue to Bring the Arts to Rural Nebraska here are a few things you can do.
Donate the Price of a Ticket
If you aren't able to attend the show but would still like to support the theatre, consider a donation equal to the price of the ticket you would have purchased, or greater. Tickets are $24. Donations can be made by clicking the button below to go to our online donation form, or you can call the box office at 402-234-2553
Join Club 50
The Lofte invites it's supporters to join Club 50 by donating $50 a month from now through the end of our 50th season in 2046. Our goal is to raise enough money to pay off 50% of our mortgage and have enough Club 50 members to fill all of the 390 setas in our house. Club 50 also comes with additional benefits such as free concession items, reserved seating, free tickets, and more! For full details, and to join, click the button below

The novel coronavirus, Coronavirus/COVID-19, has been declared a worldwide pandemic by the World Health Organization. COVID-19 is an extremely contagious disease that can lead to severe illness, personal injury, permanent disability, and death. While the Lofte will keep it's facilities clean and sanitary, we cannot guarantee that our patrons will be safe from airborne illnesses such as COVID-19. All patrons visiting the Lofte Community Theatre voluntarily assume the risk that they may be exposed to, or infected by COVID-19.
