Hollywood, Nebraska, white it is set in Nebraska, it has never actually been performed in the state of Nebraska - we will be the first!
The show follows Jane, a tightly wound actress back home from the West Coast, visiting family. Her mother, Alma, is retired and is happy her daughter is visiting! Jane meets Robert, Alma's neighbor, a contractor helping Alma with a few projects around the house, and his daughter, Katie, an aspiring actress. We also meet Andrea, who is also an actress, but a bit of an eccentric artist, who is back home from the East Coast, visiting family. We also get to meet Lance, a younger fellow who works for Robert and went to school around the same time as Jane and Adrea who may have some lingering high-school-crush feelings. This show is sure to tug on the heartstrings of any empty nesters, those who have family who live far away, and even those struggling to "make it" in their field. As the paths of these actresses collide we'll see how they handled different challenges, explore their relationship with their families, and perhaps discover that home is where the heart is, even if it's not where you are.

The year is 1901 in the somewhat small town of Grover's Corners, New Hampshire. This production is traditionally performed with minimal sets, few props, and plain costumes to truly emphasize the story and the performance. The play follows Emily Webb and George Gibbs as their friendship blossoms into love but also features the people around them within their small town. This is a story about appreciating the time you have while you have it, loving the people around you while you can, and spending time with the people you care most about.

The final installment of the "Over The Tavern," trilogy. The Lofte previously produced the other two installments, "Over the Tavern," and "King o' the Moon."
It's 1977, and the children of the Pazinski clan have all grown up and have returned to their childhood home to say goodbye. That home is an apartment above Chet's Bar & Grill, their father's bar, in Buffalo, NY. They all begin to realize that it isn't just their home disappearing, the whole neighborhood is on its way out as they see that the local church, St. Casimir's will be having its final mass, hence the title of the play. Mother, Ellen Pazinski is aging but is still trying to take care of her son, Georgie, who is mentally disabled. Ellen's children Annie, Eddie, and Rudy try to figure out the best way to take care of their reluctant family, and each other. And it looks like they'll have plenty of time to talk about it as the snowstorm of the century means they are all going to be stuck inside together for three days! This is a heartwarming script with some moments for comedy, but also gentle moments.

Fearing scandal, they decide to hide the incident from the others to protect Charles' reputation. As more guests arrive the chaos intensifies! "Rumors" is a tightly woven comedy of errors, where every character contributes to the escalating absurdity. It’s a brilliant showcase of Neil Simon’s talent for combining sharp dialogue with physical humor, leaving audiences laughing and marveling at the intricacies of the plot.

As the title would indicate, it's Christmas Eve, and the action of this production takes place in a mall that seems to be waning in popularity, called Evergreen Mall. Throughout the play, we see multiple characters and get to peek in at the things that they are doing this Christmas Eve. Some folks are shopping, some are working, and some are even performing in a play. We see families coming together, new relationships blossoming, people discovering things about themselves and each other, and of course, a mall Santa! This adorable Christmas show will have something for everyone! So make plans, this Christmas, to come to Evergreen Mall!
2025's season will be full of heart, but there will still be plenty of laughs and fun times to be had! We hope you'll join us for a year of love and life, including all of their ups and downs! Grab your tickets at lofte.org/tickets, mark your calendars, and get ready for some wonderful stories!
